Good afternoon members
We are thrilled to confirm that SSETA has granted funding for 100 participants to take up either the Employment Services Business Management Programme (BMP) or the Management Development Programme (MDP). These programmes, run since 2018, have been proven time and again to add significant value to the individuals and their businesses.
Enrolment must take place before April 2025, to align with SSETA financial periods, but the courses will only commence mid-2025 (likely June)
We are in the process of updating the currency of marketing material etc. but attach for your reference the outlines from our previous roll-out. It should be noted that there are eligibility/entrance criteria for participation and members are guided to consider this carefully before submitting employees for consideration.
- All employers must be levy-payers of the Services SETA
- Employees (participants) must meet the qualification and experience criteria for the respective programme
- Commitment from both employee and employer to full and active participation/completion - see attached Commitment Form which must be submitted with EOI
Further, in line with SSETA requirements and in support of the development of PWD talent in our sector, to work towards the EE sector targets, preference will be given to suitably qualified PWD and PDI candidates.
To ensure fair and equitable access, CAPES reserves the right to limit the number of participants from a specific company.
To submit an Expression of Interest (submitted per individual applicant) please go to the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/RnZS1tbb68
As usual, timeframes are VERY short and so we request your urgent attention. EOI will close on 10 March 2025. Seats are limited so please activate ASAP!

NOTE: CAPES have also applied for funding for shorter programmes, Capacity Building in Labour Law, which are ideally aimed at TES practitioners servicing clients. We anticipate launching that within the next 2 - 3 months and recommend therefore that you weigh this when determining who within your team should be considered for the BMP and MDP.
Kind regards
Jacqui Ford APSO CEO
