Employment Equity Sectoral Targets are numerical targets set by the Minister of Employment and Labour for each national economic sector. The targets are designed to promote equity in the workplace by ensuring that designated employers achieve equitable representation of designated groups in all occupational levels in the workforce.

The targets were published in May 2023 and are set for a period of five years.

It is critical for our members to have an understanding of the sectors their clients are in so that they can strategically plan to support their client's EE agendas and targets.

Hence this APSO Connect Session will address areas such as

  • What you need to know about the Employment Equity Sectoral Targets for your business.
  • How do the new EE Sectoral targets impact your clients and what role can you play to support this?
