Part 1: Business Development for Recruiters

In this half-day session, experienced recruiter, previous recruitment business owner, and trainer, Natalie Singer, will share practical advice and tools to help you grow your business/desk. Rather than spray and pray, Natalie will help you to employ a targeted business development campaign that focuses effort and increases return on investment. During the session, you will learn how to:

  • Determine your target market
  • Position your brand
  • Identify and Approach targeted prospective clients
  • Build your sales pipeline; and
  • Measure the metrics that matter
Part 2: Consultative Selling for Recruiters

In this half-day session, experienced recruiter, previous recruitment business owner, and trainer, Natalie Singer, will share practical advice and tools to help you differentiate yourself with your clients, drive a value, not price conversation, and improve your success ratios. During the session, you will learn how to:

  • Shift away from transactional service provider to one of consultative partner
  • Position value, instead of defending price
  • Build trust and credibility, driving customers up the loyalty ladder
  • Establish a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) plan; and
  • Improve your Return on Investment by focusing on quality, not quantity

This course will take place from 9 am -12 pm on the 04th and 06th of June.

Natalie Singer
Natalie Singer has been working in recruitment/HR since 2003. She has run her own recruitment business and headed up APSO between 2007 and 2014, before opting to consult and train more broadly. Now an Executive Consultant with Global Business Solutions, she still serves on the CAPES Board and represents business on various forums. Natalie has been actively involved in the Wits CAPES Programmes, including as material developer and facilitator. She combines her knowledge of marketing, communications, and sales with her passion for the industry, and offers insights into how to differentiate yourself in the highly competitive recruitment market.
